The Fantastic Four movies have been fantastic failures, at least critically if not at the box office, but they’re positively Iron Manish in comparison to the seldom seen Roger Corman-produced film about the super quartet from 1992. The low budget flick (as were all Roger Corman movies) was never released, and may have been created just so the rights to the characters could be retained by a German producer. The new documentary Doomed! The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s “The Fantastic Four” explores the strange history of the film.
