The Muppets return with another star-studded spectacular — this time an international thriller that sees Kermit thrown in prison in a case of mistaken identity. The Muppets have been on a fierce comeback since the well-received The Muppet Movie two years ago, and a cast that includes Ty Burrell (Modern Family), Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais (among many more fun cameos)  should ensure that Muppets Most Wanted will be just as enjoyable, in spite of the absence of Jason Segel and Amy Adams, who shined in the last film. Screenwriters James Bobin and Nicolas Stoller return for the sequel, and Bobin again directs. Just as importantly, Bret McKenzie, who won an Oscar for Best Song for the last film, returns for songwriting duties, and his Flight of the Conchords partner Jemaine Clement shows up in the cast.

And Danny Trejo doing Fozzi Bear? That’s worth the price of admission on its own!
