Lionsgate has released a new IMAX poster for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, director Francis Lawrence’s second installation in the four-film franchise based on the novels by Suzanne Collins.
IMAX posters are usually more ambitious than the regular theatrical ones, but this Rococo-styled poster inspired by the work of Kris Kuksi, with its incredible amount of detail and symbolism, has a mesmerizing shrine-like quality to it. Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), the unwitting leader of the rebellion, is seen as the center of all that is happening in the nation of Panem.
If you have not seen the final trailer for Catching Fire, get on it. The film opens November 22.
