Not long ago, in a galaxy right here, George Lucas apparently had two working titles for Star Wars: Episode VII that he had conceived before he sold the franchise to Disney.

Latino Review reports that these two titles are: Return of the Sith and Rise of the Jedi.

Badabum.

It’s rather underwhelming; but remember, they’re working titles. These were both turned over to Disney as part of the sale, and the studio has no obligation to use them.

The titles do reveal a wee bit of plot direction, at the very least. We know the Sith are coming back, and the Jedi — who were decimated in Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith — will once again become a force in the universe (pun intended). Luke will carry on, as Yoda wanted him to, and pass on his Jedi training to many others.

What do you think of these working titles? Do you have a better alternative? Chime in below.

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters in 2015.
