Who knew that Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg would make such a great buddy team? 2 Guns (Universal) features the savvy vet and the earnest upstart in a buddy crime film filled with twists, surprises, betrayals, and lots and lots of gunfire.
The two guns are, of course, Washington and Wahlberg, a couple of freelance criminals who specialize in odd jobs (mostly illegal) to a drug kingpin (Edward James Olmos), but don’t be fooled by the title: there are hundreds of guns and bazillions of spent rounds in this fast-moving action flick from director Baltasar Kormákur, the Icelandic import who made his stateside debut with Contraband (also with Mark Wahlberg). Paula Patton, Bill Paxton and James Marsden co-star.
The Blu-ray+DVD Combo edition of 2 Guns features one disc in each format plus a bonus Ultraviolet Digital HD copy for download or streaming. Each disc includes commentary by director Baltasar Kormákur and producer Adam Siegel, the featurette “Undercover and Into Action,” and deleted and extended scenes. The Blu-ray also includes three additional featurettes: “The Good, the Bad and the Sexy” (on the film’s six stars), “Finding the Vibe” (creating the film’s style) and “Living Dangerously” (meet the stunt team).
Cinephiled and Universal are teaming up to give away copies of the 2 Guns Blu-ray+DVD Combo, plus an exclusive branded Solo Cup (because life is short and disposable), to three lucky readers. All you have to do to enter is answer this question:
