More than a decade after director / writer Malcolm D. Lee made his feature debut with The Best Man, he reunited the film’s stars – Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Terrence Howard, Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan, Monica Calhoun, Harold Perrineau, Regina Hall and Melissa De Sousa – to pick up the lives of their characters during their first reunion in years.
The Best Man Holiday arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, February 11 from Universal Home Video. The Blu-ray edition features commentary by writer/director/producer Malcolm D. Lee, deleted and extended scenes with optional director commentary, and the featurettes “Holiday Reunion: The Making of The Best Man Holiday” and “Smack Talk: Filming The Girl Fight Scene” among the supplements.
Cinephiled is teaming up with Universal Home Video to give away a copy of the Blu-ray edition of the film in a special prize package that also includes a Blu-ray copy of original The Best Man and a special heart-shaped lip balm created for the home video release.
